Our Story
The Enchanted Florist began more than two decades ago as a small floral atelier nestled in historic Old Town Alexandria, just minutes from Washington D.C. As a business built on a passion for exquisite flowers, The Enchanted Florist has grown into a cutting edge studio where we thrive on redefining the art of floral design. Our inspiration comes from nature and our designs reflect and celebrate the beauty that surrounds us.
With varied backgrounds in horticulture, fashion and jewelry design, and landscape and interior design – our team shares an innate desire to create beauty that is artfully crafted using unexpected elements of nature. Experienced in many areas, our style cannot be classified under any one category – versatility is our biggest asset.
Our long-standing relationships with experienced growers from all over the world including Holland, Japan, and local Virginia farms allows us to source the best botanicals on the market.
The creative process is very important to us, and we strongly believe service to be our finest product. We are delighted to hand craft the perfect design for your special occasion, wedding, or event – and see each new interaction as the start of a lasting relationship.
